Reiki Level 3 is the Master Level, marking a significant step in your Reiki journey. It deepens your spiritual connection, strengthens your healing abilities, and introduces you to the Master Symbol. After completing this level, Reiki 3rd degree certificate shall be obtained. This means you become an official Reiki practitioner & teacher. There are two types of Level 3:
- Reiki Level 3A (Master Practitioner Level) – You receive the Master symbol and learn advanced healing techniques but do not teach others.
- Reiki Level 3B (Master Teacher Level) – You receive full Master attunement and learn how to pass attunements to others, allowing you to teach Reiki.
What You Learn in Reiki Level 3
The Master Symbol: “Great Bright Light”
- The most powerful symbol, used for deep healing and spiritual growth.
- Enhances all other symbols and brings enlightenment.
- Strengthens your ability to channel Reiki energy.
- Used in attunements for passing Reiki to students.
Advanced Healing Techniques

- Healing at the Soul Level – Deeper work on past traumas and karma.
- Working with the Aura & Chakras – Strengthening and balancing energy fields.
- Spiritual Development – Increasing intuition, psychic awareness, and connection to higher consciousness.
- Crystal Healing & Reiki Grids – Some Reiki Masters teach how to use crystals to enhance Reiki energy.
When Reiki master allows you to become a teacher according to your personality and other factors, you will receive Reiki Teacher 3B attunement fully and become able to teach Reiki to others. (Most of students can receive Reiki 3B.)
